Rockwool Board Insulation 8LB
General Product Information
Firwin 8Lb Mineral Fibre Board are made from basalt rock and slag. The combination results in a non- combustible product with a melting point of approx. 2150ºF [1177ºC] which gives excellent fire resistance properties. Firwin mineral fibre is water repellant yet water vapour permeable.
Description & Common Applications
This product is a non-combustible, rigid mineral wool insulation board that is lightweight, water repellent and designed for high temperature applications where durability and compressive resistance is required. Common applications include protection where high temperature, fire resistance and moisture resistance are concerns.
