Firwin MFI Metal Foil Insulation is ideal for exhaust system components (tubing, piping , elbows, etc.) that require pre-installed installation. The insulation is encapsulated by an outer foil that is welded to the part.
The result is an aesthetically pleasing insulation cover that offers superior durability, can withstand steam washing / solvents, and acts as a barrier to any fluids seeping into the insulation material.
Firwin MFI can be designed to contour to complex shapes. The insulation material and thickness is customizable to match the requirements of specific applications.
The product is ideal for Original Equipment Manufacturers with small to medium quantity requirements. Similar to Firwin HC Hard Coat insulation, components are shipped to our factory where Firwin MFI is installed and shipped back to the customer.
