ROXUL® products are mineral wool fibre insulations made from basalt rock and slag. This combination results in a non-combustible product with a melting point of approximately 2150ºF (1177ºC), which gives it excellent fire resistance properties. ROXUL mineral wool is a water repellent yet vapour permeable material.
Description & Common Applications:
The RHF™ series of products are non-combustible mineral wool insulation boards that are lightweight, water repellent and designed to allow for various application requirements. This series of products can be fabricated to different dimensions while still retaining all their fire, water and thermal values. A major application for the RHF series is pipe and tank wrap, where temperature demands as well as moisture resistance are critical.
