Silco-Sleeve

Silicone Coated Fiberglass Sleeves

 (26)
High grade Silicone rubber bonded to fiberglass sleeving

Silco Sleeve is designed to protect hoses, wires and cables from the hazards of high heat and occasional flame. It protects continuously to 500ºF and will withstand a molten splash at 2200ºF. Made of either knitted or braided fiberglass yarns in a flexible substrate, it is then coated with a high grade silicone rubber.

Resistant to hydraulic fluids, lubricating oils, and fuels, Silco Sleeve insulates against energy loss in piping and hosing; protects employees from burns; and allows "bundling" of wires, hoses, and cables. The braided version allows qualified hose assemblies to pass AS1055D testing under stated flow and pressure conditions.

F I R W I N Asbestos-Free Textiles are Designed To Perform Continuously to 1800ºF (982ºC)

FIRWIN industrial insulation textiles are pure silica products with the high-performance capabilities of a refractory material. They provide insulation and protection in continuous environments to 1800ºF (982ºC), retaining their original textile characteristics. They are relatively inert, resist most chemical attack and provide outstanding protection in electrical insulation applications with good dielectric strength of 40 volts/mil of thickness.
